Meet Dr. Charina Holmes
Dr. Charina Holmes has been a chiropractor since 1988 and has been practicing at Holmes Chiropractic in Monterey Park, California, since 1989. She is a former president of the California Chiropractic Association’s LA Southeast District and holds several certifications, including Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), Certified Medical Examiner DOT, and Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). Dr. Holmes graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pasadena College of Chiropractic in 1988 and is a second-generation chiropractor. Originally from Texas, she moved to California at age 10 and became fluent in Spanish after living in Mexico for a year.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Holmes enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, rescuing animals, and engaging in activities like traveling, reading, working out, golfing, paddle boarding, and skiing. She is passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness, proper nutrition, and a positive mindset.
